Hi welcome to my blog, here I would love to know the most famous Korean boyband this year mostly according to my version of hell. so we just start from number 10
10. BTS / Bangtan Boys
Bangtan Boys is a South Korean seven-member hip-hop boy group formed by Big Hit Entertainment , a company who also manages the artists GLAM and 2AM . They debuted on June 13, 2013 with their first title song No More Dream followed by We Are Bulletproof Pt.II They have won the title of "New Artist of the Year" at several music award functions including the 2013 MelOn Music Awards and Golden Disk Awards , 2014 Seoul Music Awards and Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards with multiple other nominations at other award ceremonies. They have also had their own variety show called Rookie King: Channel Bangtan, which aired on the SBS MTV channel for a total of eight episodes.
9. BEAST / B2ST
Beast is a South Korean boy band with six members, was formed in 2009 by Cube Entertainment. Consists of: Yoon Doo-joon, Jang Hyun-seung, Yong Jun-hyung, Yoseob, Lee Gi-kwang and Son Dong-woon. Beast released one studio album Korean, one Japanese studio album, five mini albums and various singles. They debuted in October 2009, when the first mini-album Beast Is the B2ST released. Beast released their first Korean studio album titled Fiction and Fact in 2011, and received the first triple crown on Mnet M! Countdown to the single leader of "Fiction". In the same year, the Beast made his debut in Japan with debut single entitled "Shock Japan Version".
8. Boyfriend
Boyfriend is a South Korean male vocal group under Starship Entertainment which was formed in 2011. The members are Kim Donghyun, Shim Hyunseong, Lee Jeongmin, Jo Youngmin, Jo Kwangmin and No Minwoo. The group has released three solo albums Korea. They debuted on Mnet M! Countdown on May 26, 2011 with their debut single "Boyfriend". Their fanbase was officially named the "Best Friend" on August 10, 2011.
7. SHINee
Shinee is a South Korean boyband homage to R & B kontemporer.Dibentuk SM Entertainment in 2008, Shinee consists of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin. Their first appearance on May 25, 2008 in the event on SBS's Popular Songs. They brought promotional single, "Noona Neomu Yeppeo (Replay). The name is a combination of SHINee shine and ee which means" receive the light "or" receive attention.
6. CNBLUE
CN Blue is written also in the style of indie rock band CNBLUE is a South Korean. The band consists of Jung Yong Hwa (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Lee Jong Hyun (lead guitarist, vocals), Lee Jung Shin (bass guitar, vocals) and Kang Min Hyuk (drums, vocals). "CN is an abbreviation of 'Code Name' while BLUE is an abbreviation of the members 'individual images, said by one of the members.' Burning 'represents Lee Jong Hyun,' Lovely 'represents Kang Min Hyuk,' Untouchable 'represents Lee Jung Shin, and' Emotional 'represents Jung Yong Hwa. 5. SHINHWA
Shinhwa is a South Korean six-member boy band that debuted on 24 March 1998 with: Eric Mun, Lee Min-woo, Kim Dong-wan, Shin Hye-sung, Jun Jin and Andy Lee. It is the longest-running boy band in the history of K-pop in South Korea and has enjoyed success alongside Sechs Kies, g.o.d, Fly to the Sky, Turbo, Baby V.O.X, Fin. K.L., H.O.T. and S.E.S.. Shinhwa is the Korean word for myth or legend.
4. 2PM
2PM is a South Korean idol group managed by JYP Entertainment. The current members are Jun. K (formerly known as Junsu), Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho and Chansung. Former leader Jay Park officially left the group in early 2010. The members of 2PM started when Korean musician Park Jin Young formed an eleven-member band known as One Day. Eventually the band was split into 2PM, and a similar but independent group known as 2AM. 2PM debuted with the song "10 Jeom Manjeome 10 Jeom" , which showcased their acrobatic dance styles.[1] They achieved their first Number 1 single with "Again & Again". Both singles featured on their first studio album, The First Album 1:59PM, released in 2009. The band went on to release another Korean album, known as Hands Up, in 2011. They made their Japanese debut later that year with Republic of 2PM. After more than a year, the group returned in 2013 with their third studio album Grown. In early September 2014, 2PM returned with their 4th studio album "Go Crazy" with their title track composed by fellow member Jun. K. The album was released on 15 September. The music video was released on 10 September. They made their comeback stage at m!countdown on 11 September.
3. INFINITE
Infinite is a South Korean boyband under Woollim Entertainment label, which is also home to other talents such as Epik High and Nell. The group consists of 7 members: Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Hoya, Sungyeol, L, and Sungjong. They are known for their highly synchronized dances as well as the 'Scorpion Dance' in MV "Before the Dawn". By the year 2011 as their breakout year, Infinite continued success and further until finally gaining more popularity among other groups in the two countries, South Korea and Japan.
2. SUPER JUNIOR
Super Junior is a South Korean pop group. Formed in 2005 by producer Lee Soo-man of S.M. Entertainment, the group comprised a total of thirteen members at its peak. Super Junior originally debuted with twelve members, consisting of leader Leeteuk, Heechul, Hankyung, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kibum. Kyuhyun joined the group in 2006.
1. EXO
Exo is a South Korean-Chinese K-pop boy band produced by S.M. Entertainment. Formed in 2011 in Seoul, South Korea, EXO consists of 12 members separated into two subgroups, EXO-K and EXO-M, performing music in Korean and Mandarin, respectively. EXO-K comprises Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai and Sehun. The members of EXO-M are Xiumin, Luhan, Kris, Lay, Chen and Tao.
The group's two albums, the debut EP Mama (2012) and the studio album XOXO (2013), sold over 1.5 million units in total worldwide. With XOXO, they became the youngest boy band to win Album of the Year at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, and the fastest-selling K-pop artist in twelve years. EXO also has the highest chart position on the "Billboard 200" for Korean male group acts. Since 2012, the group has received over fifty awards.
